What To Expect

When You Visit the Assistance Center

When you connect with the Assistance Center, you’ll sit down with someone who’s there to help you move forward. A Career Specialist will take the time to understand your situation, your goals, and any barriers you may be facing. From there, they’ll work with you to create a plan that makes sense for you. No two plans are the same. The support you receive is tailored to your needs and adjusted as you make progress.

This may include:

A woman in a yellow blouse points at a computer screen while talking to a man with glasses and a beard, who is seated and looking at the monitor. Both appear focused and engaged in discussion.

How Career Counseling Supports Your Next Step

Most of the services offered through the Workforce Assistance Center are delivered through career counseling. That means you’re not navigating programs, applications, or decisions on your own. You’re working with someone who helps you make informed choices and stay focused on what will actually move you forward.

Instead of guessing which resource to use or trying to figure out eligibility on your own, you’ll have guidance that connects the dots between your goals and the services available to you.
